12 Un-Ignorable Hook Types

It can’t be overstated: the key to people sticking around with your content is nailing the hook.

I know that puts a lot of pressure on that first line or two of copy, but I promise you it’s worth the pay off. Not only that - there’s actually a ton of different approaches to nailing your hook.

No need for me to re-invent the wheel. The kings & queens of the hook are the folks over at Demand Curve. I stole Neal O’Grady’s 12 Hooks Cheatsheet from Demand Curve’s Hook Vault - a list of 400 viral hooks from the top 100 creators on X/Twitter (we’re mutuals on LinkedIn and he’s a fellow British Columbian - hopefully he doesn’t mind! Hi Neal!)

P.s. I’m on the waitlist for the next cohort of the Un-ignorable course and you should be too.

No this isn’t sponsored. I’m just a huge fan of Katelyn Bourgoin and Neal O’Grady. They both offer massively high value for free on their platforms and newsletters so you know this course is going to be jam-packed full of value.
